To sign up your student organization to participate in Wonderful Wednesdays, you must complete this form by 5:00PM on the Sunday night before.
Wonderful Wednesday is a weekly celebration of the Emory community every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in Asbury Circle! From 1967-1982, Emory did not have classes on Wednesdays, in order to give students a mid-week break. There were no review sessions, no meetings . . . nothing!
In 2006, the tradition of relaxation, fun and community was brought back to campus. We still have class, but we can at least have some fun! Wonderful Wednesday seeks to bring students together and foster a sense of community though the promotion and demonstration of the diverse activities students at Emory are engaged in.
Wonderful Wednesday, one of Emory's greatest traditions, receives significant support from the Office of the President and the Division of Campus Life. The Office of Student Leadership & Service supports the WW organizers, called Moderators, in many of the event planning needs.
